Nice little hot streak, playoffs?  Hmmm, interesting thought.  I wonder how it will all play out with the deadline, wild card and winning streak.

Tonight's game was a special one, not because of the 4-0 victory, or the 6 1/3 innings of dominant pitching by Mike Pelfrey, or David Wright's hot hitting, but because I had my entire family at the game.  Not just my Dad and brothers, but my Mom, my sister from Florida, my brothers wives as well as all of my awesome nieces and nephews.  Molly, Abigail, Max, Hanna, Elizabet, Riley were all at the game tonight.  Catherine was even a trooper and made it to the game. It was a great evening of Mets baseball and the Miles family.

I had the honor of sitting with the birthday girl, Molly, and we had an awesome time.  We talked baseball the entire game and over served ourselves with ice cream, pizza, soda and anything else we could pack away in a 9 inning game.  She is an amazing girl and I was very impressed with her knowledge of baseball .  She is a huge David Wright fan, surprise surprise, and she got so excited every time he came to bat or made a play in the field.

This picture of our family is awesome!

A friend sent me this picture, and I think it is just so funny.  Does He really love the Mets?  He certainly does not love Mets fans.

Well, it was nice to see Manny in town.  I wonder how different this season would have been if the Mets had signed Manny.  I think it would have been a much different season.  Anyway, no use it playing that game.  Turns out the Mets throw out a pathetic line-up, they keep slipping from contention and the fans are started to care less and less.

Tonight I went to the game with my buddy Brian.  His parents were are the game and had scored some pretty money seats, so we ended up watching the game with them.  I would have to say that this was one of the most uninspired played game by the Mets I have ever seen.  I left the game early, wasn't even worth hanging out at the stadium.  I kinda refuse to give this organization any more money.

Oh well, got to see Manny and a Mets 11-2 loss.

    Woo-Hoo!
